How we raise money

The work of TYPO is supported financially in one of three ways:

By far the greater part of our funding is from charitable grant funding bodies. Chelmsford Diocese provided our start-up seed funding in 2011. Since then, we have received continuation grants from FSJ Charities, Sisters of the Holy Cross Charitable Trust and the United Reformed Church (Eastern Region).

The three Christian churches in Tiptree (St Luke’s Parish Church, St John Houghton Catholic Church, United Reformed Church) and Tiptree Parish Council all contribute an annual sum.

We have also benefited greatly from gifts, donations and legacies from local individuals, businesses and organisations who have an interest and concern for the young people of this community.

Make a Donation

Your support makes a world of difference.

To donate click on the Donate button in the picture to go straight to the Charities Aid Foundation website to make a donation online. This includes a Gift Aid declaration.

Gift Aid allows UK charities to claim back the basic rate tax already paid on donations by the donor. This means we can claim back from the government on your behalf 25p for every £1 donated, boosting the value of the donation by a quarter.
