Make A Difference
With the exception of Andy, all on the team at TYPO are volunteers. We’re here because we want to support and serve the young people of our community.
We’re a mixed bunch of personalities and skills, but what we have in common is a desire to use our time and our gifts to achieve something we believe in. That’s the great thing about volunteering; it brings together people from all walks of life with a common aim and purpose.
Could you work with us and make a difference? Are you concerned about the pressures young people face today? Do you enjoy being part of a team? Have you got some time on your hands? If so, we really need some new trustees and support workers.

We are especially in need of:
Fund-raising expertise
Someone who can identify and process grant funding opportunities. The pressures of a competitive funding market upon small charities are considerable and we are constantly towards a greater financial stability.
Networking and marketing expertise
To put TYPO on the map in our local community. We want to convey our deep concern for young people, not just to those young people and young families with a potential to be users of our services, but to individuals, services and organisations who may be potential contributors in terms of skills, practical help or finance.
